Install the oil temperature bulb:
(a)
Lubricate a new O-ring with engine oil.
(b)
Put the O-ring on the oil temperature bulb.
(c)
Screw the bulb into the boss on the scavenge filter housing.
(d)
Tighten the bulb.
(e)
Install lockwire on the bulb.

Connect the electrical connector to the oil temperature bulb.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:

approximately the same temperature.

OIL TEMPERATURE INDICATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
The first task is the removal of the oil temperature indicator.
(2)
The second task is the installation of the indicator.
B. The oil temperature indicator is located on the pilot's center instrument panel (P2).

(1) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P6 Load Control Center
1) ENG 1 OIL TEMP & PRESS AC
2) ENG 2 OIL TEMP & PRESS AC

(2) Loosen the clamp adjustment screw for the oil temperature indicator on the pilot's center instrument panel (P2).
NOTE: The adjustment screw is the larger screw located above and to

the right of the indicator.

(3)
Pull the indicator out from the panel so you can get access to the electrical connector.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the indicator.
(a) If both oil temperature indicators are removed at the same time, clearly identify the D604 connector for engine No. 1 and the D606 connector for engine No. 2.
