(b) Remove the inlet and outlet pressure tubes from the pressure
switch and scavenge filter.
NOTE: It can be necessary to loosen the clamp between the
____ inlet and outlet pressure tubes for the removal.
1) Discard the o-rings.
(c) Remove the pressure switch bracket from the lubrication unit.
1) ENGINES PRE-CFMI-SB 79-028; If the bracket with a washer and a large (0.285 inch) bolt hole is used, remove and keep the washer.

Remove the magnetic chip detectors (MCD's) (AMM 79-21-05/201).

Drain the oil from the lubrication unit as follows:
(a)
Put the drain adapter into the lubrication unit at the MCD
location.
(b)
Push the adapter in and turn it one quarter turn clockwise.
(c)
Permit the oil to drain into the container.
(d)
Remove the drain adapter:
1) Push in while you turn it one quarter turn
counterclockwise.
2) Pull the adapter down and remove it from the lubrication unit.
(e)
Drain the oil from the lubrication unit at the two MCD
locations that remain.

CAUTION: DO NOT INSTALL THE MAGNETIC PLUG WITHOUT AN O-RING.
_______ INSTALLATION OF THE MAGNETIC PLUG WITHOUT AN O-RING CAN CAUSE OIL LEAKAGE DURING ENGINE OPERATION AND A POSSIBLE ENGINE FAILURE.

Clean and install the MCD's (AMM 79-21-05/201).

Remove the clamp that attaches the oil supply tube to the inlet tube of the scavenge oil filter.

Remove the inlet tube of the scavenge oil filter.

NOTE: Gaskets can be used again if they are in a good condition.

(11) Disconnect the forward and aft sump oil supply tubes from the lubrication unit.

Remove the AGB oil supply tube.

Disconnect the aft scavenge tube, forward scavenge tube and lube supply tube from the lubrication unit.

Remove the AGB scavenge tube.
NOTE: Gaskets can be used again if they are in good condition.

CAUTION: HOLD THE LUBRICATION UNIT WHEN YOU REMOVE THE ATTACHMENT CLAMP.
_______ DO THIS TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE DRIVE SHAFT AND SPLINES.

Remove the clamp that attaches the lubrication unit to the AGB.
