 WARNING:_______DO NOT LET THE ENGINE OIL STAY ON YOUR SKIN. IF THE ENGINE OIL STAYS ON YOUR SKIN, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
 BE CAREFUL AROUND THE ENGINE OIL SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY AFTER ENGINE SHUT-DOWN. THE ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE STAYS HIGH FOR SOME TIME AFTER THE ENGINE SHUT-DOWN AND CAN CAUSE INJURY.
 CAUTION: IMMEDIATELY CLEAN OFF ALL ENGINE OIL THAT FALLS ON THE PAINTED
_______ SURFACES AND RUBBER PARTS OF THE AIRPLANE. THE SPECIFIED OIL FOR THIS OIL SYSTEM WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PAINTED SURFACES AND SOME TYPES OF RUBBER AND MUST NOT BE PERMITTED TO TOUCH THESE PARTS OF THE ENGINE.
 USE VERY CLEAN CONTAINERS AND EQUIPMENT. OIL CONTAMINATION BY SMALL QUANTITIES OF SOME ALKALINE CLEANERS CAN CAUSE A FAILURE OF THE SYNTHETIC OIL.
 DO NOT PUT THE OIL THAT IS DRAINED FROM THE ENGINE BACK INTO THE ENGINE.

Put a container under the oil filter differential pressure switch.

 (3)  
Disconnect the inlet pressure line for the oil filter at the oil filter differential pressure switch.

 (4)  
Connect an air pressure source to the switch inlet port.


 E. Do the Oil Filter Bypass Warning System Test
 S 865-006-C00
 (1)  Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
 (a)  Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the BAT switch.

 (2)  Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
 (a)  P6 Load Control Center
 1) INDICATOR - MASTER DIM BUS (9 locations)
 2) DIM & TEST

 S 215-008-C00
 (3)  Make sure the amber OIL FILTER BYPASS light on the P2 Pilots Center Instrument Panel is off.

 (4)  Do the steps that follow to make sure the system operates correctly.
 (a)  
Push the lens cap on the oil filter bypass light and make sure the light comes on.

 (b)  
Apply air pressure to the oil filter differential pressure switch.
