 (a)  Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the BAT switch.

 (5)  Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
 (a)  P6-2 Load Control Center 1) For Engine No. 1: a) AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS); ENG 1 OIL TEMP & PRESS AC
 b)  AIRPLANES WITH THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS); EIS SEC 1 EIS SEC 2
 2) For engine No. 2: a) AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS); ENG 2 OIL TEMP & PRESS AC
 b)  AIRPLANES WITH THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS); EIS SEC 3 EIS SEC 4
 F.  Test of the Oil Pressure Indicating System
 S 865-019-C00
 (1)  
Apply 80 psi (551 kPa) air pressure to the oil pressure transmitter.

 S 215-020-C00

 (2)  
Make sure the oil pressure indication reads 80 |3 psi.

 (3)  
Keep the pressure at 80 psi (551 kPa) for 1 minute with the air pressure supply shut off.

 (4)
Monitor the oil pressure indicator to examine the system for leaks.


 (a)  If there are leaks in the system, the indication value will decrease.

 2) For engine No. 2:
 a) ENG 2 OIL TEMP & PRESS AC
 b) AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS);
 ENG 2 OIL TEMP & PRESS AC
 c) AIRPLANES WITH THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS);
 EIS SEC 4
 S 215-061-C00
 (6)  AIRPLANES WITH OIL TEMPERATURE INDICATORS;
 (AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS));
 Make sure the indicator goes back to zero or less.

 (7)  AIRPLANES WITH THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS);
 Make sure the pointer goes back to zero or less and goes out of view
 after two seconds.

 (8)  Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
 (a) P6-2 Load Control Center
 1) For engine No. 1:
 a) AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS);

 b) AIRPLANES WITH THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS);
 EIS SEC 1
 2) For engine No. 2:
 a) AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS);
 ENG 2 OIL TEMP & PRESS AC
 b) AIRPLANES WITH THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEM (EIS);
 EIS SEC 4
 S 865-039-C00
 (9)  Decrease the air supply pressure to 45 psi (310 kPa).
 S 215-040-C00

 (10) Make sure the oil pressure indication reads 45 psi |3 psi.

 (11) Decrease the air supply pressure to the atmospheric pressure and monitor the oil pressure indicator.
 (a)  The indication must read 0 psi |3 psi.
 G. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

 (1) Remove the air pressure line from the oil pressure transmitter.
 (a)  Discard the O-ring.

 (2)  
Connect the tee fitting for the supply oil pressure to the oil pressure transmitter with a new O-ring, lubricated with engine oil.
