Retexture surface as necessary, apply ink or paint with a 00 brush for scratch line retexturing or with a very flexible silicone blanket (with desired texture) for larger area repairing.
NOTE: Cover damaged area only as needed to blend-in repair area.

Check surface to determine that repair will not show.
(k)
If surface is unsatisfactory, repeat steps (a) thru (i) until repaired area does not show.
(l)
When surface texture is satisfactory, lightly spray repair area as necessary.

Feather spray to cover 1 to 2 inches on each side of damage. When repair is on a pattern texture surface, apply paints per AM.(4)(b).

Match glass of repair to surrounding area. Reduce gloss by spraying with matte finish

(a) This method is for repair of surface damage in Tedlar covered crushed core (per BAC5564)
NOTE: This method is for scratches or minor indented (or gauged) surfaces. Indentations are not to exceed 0.01-inch depth for 0.03-inch thick Tedlar covered crushed core panels. Indentations are not to exceed 0.005-inch depth for 0.080-inch thick Tedlar crushed core panels.

CABIN ACCOMMODATION CONVERSIONS - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
A. The interior furnishings and equipment in the main cabin of these airplanes are designed to allow easy and rapid convertibility between several configurations of accommodation for passengers and/or cargo.
B. On Passenger/Cargo Convertible Airplanes, the main cabin can be cleared of passenger equipment and converted to accommodate cargo. Alternatively a fume-tight dividing partition may be installed across the cabin at five different positions: cargo is then accommodated forward of the partition and passengers aft.
C. The types of accommodations available are:

2. Passenger Accommodation
A. The cabin is furnished for passenger accommodation. This includes floor coverings, passenger seats, partitions, overhead stowage compartments, passenger service units and windows.
B. Seat spacing is different in each configuration.

3. Cargo Accommodation (Passenger/Cargo Convertible Airplanes)
A. When the whole cabin is converted for cargo accommodation, the passenger seats and floor coverings are removed. In this configuration, use is made of all seven floor tracks, three of which (one along the center of the floor and one along each outboard edge) are filled and covered in the passenger configuration.
