(3) Torque the outer nut: CAUTION : TAKE CARE NOT TO SCREW ON THE INNER NUT OR KICKER PLATE,

DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Install an hexagonal driver of 2 mm (0.08 in.) into the threaded stem.
(b) Hold the driver and torque the outer nut until it breaks off.
(4) Remove the SAFETY SLEEVE - PIVOTING DOOR ACTUATOR (HIX3005) from the blocker door actuator without making thrust reverser operational (Ref. TASK 78-32-41-080-001).
(5) Install the upper blocker door: CAUTION : BLOCKER DOOR LATCH MUST BE OPENED WHEN YOU CLOSE THE

BLOCKER DOOR OR DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Manually move the blocker door to the closed position (Ref. TASK 78-32-41-860-002).
(6) Make sure that the blocker door is correctly aligned (Ref. TASK 78-32-41-820-001).

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040): FOR 1000EM1 437AL, 438AR FOR 1000EM2 447AL, 448AR
(2) Put the access platform in position.
