A. Do a Visual Inspection of the Thrust Reverser Half Door Opening Actuator and Hydraulic Hose

1. Inspect the half door opening actuator for:
A. Damage No damage permitted If you find some damage, replace the door opening actuator (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-000-041) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-400-041)
B. Crack No crack permitted If there is a crack, replace the door opening actuator (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-000-041) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-400-041)
C. Hydraulic leakage The Dynamic rate of 4 If the leakage comes from drops per 25 actuation the nipple, check the cyles is allowed. nipple for correct torque The static rate of 4 (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-400-drops in 8 hours is 041).

Make sure the rod end pin head is on the top of the actuator. Make sure the washer and circlip are on the bottom and tight.
No damage permitted If the leakage is beyond the permitted limits, replace the door-opening actuator (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-000-041) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-400-041)
If the leakage comes from the body of the actuator, replace the door opening actuator (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-000-041) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-400-041)
If you find some damage, replace the damaged part (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-000-041) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-400-041)
If pin head is on the bottom and washer is on the top, reinstall actuator. If washer and circlip are found missing or loose, replace the actuator. (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-000-041) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-400-041)
If you find some damage, replace the hydraulic hose (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-000-041) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-51-400-041)
