A. Removal of the One or Eleven O'clock Strut Bushing
(1) Remove the screws (5) and the nuts (10) that attach the pin (15) to the inner barrel.
(2) Remove the pin (15) and the bushing (20).
(3) Discard the bushing (20).
(4) Remove the sealant from the bottom of the inner barrel with a plastic scraper.
(5) In necessary, remove the sealant from around the strut.

(6) Cleaning:

THESE PRODUCTS ARE FLAMMABLE AND VAPOR IS DANGEROUS. THEY MAY CAUSE IRRITATION OF EYES, NOSE, THROAT AND SKIN. HIGH CONCENTRATIONS MAY CAUSE WEAKNESS, HEADACHE, NAUSEA, DIZZINESS AND IMPAIRED JUDGEMENT.
R (a) Clean the areas where you removed the sealant with acetone
R (Material No. CP1039) or stoddard solvent (Material No. CP2011)
R or ardrox 552 (Material No. CP2559) or turco ind 79 (Material No.
R CP2560) or mag-chem teksol (Material No. CP2566) or degreasol 99R
R (Material No. CP2584) or mag-chem skysol (Material No. CP2656) or
R isopropyl alcohol (Material No. CP1041).
(7) Dry the areas with a clean cloth.
