(76.2 mm) minimum between two cracks, 4.17 in. (105.92 mm) maximum total length of cracks If the fretting is not inthe seviceable limits,replace the outer flange(Ref. TASK 78-36-42-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-42-400-001)
NOTE : Repair the damaged
____ outer flange(s) in a shop environment (Ref. ESM 71-00-01).
If the crack is in theserviceable limits, stopdrill crack 0.5 in. (12.7mm) long and over. If thecrack is not in theserviceable limits, replace the inner flange (Ref. TASK 78-36-42-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-42-400-001)
If the fretting is not inthe serviceable limits,replace the inner flange(Ref. TASK 78-36-42-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-42-400-001)
If the crack is not in theserviceable limits,replace the struts(Ref. TASK 78-36-42-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-42-400-001)

 A. Swag  No swag permitted If there is swag, replace the hold-open rod (Ref. TASK 78-36-42-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 78-36-42-400-001)
