R  (1) General 
R  Two blocker doors are installed onto each half reverser. Each blocker 
R  door rotates around pins secured onto upper and lower fittings 
R  located at 3 and 9 o'clock. All the blockers doors are actuated by 
R  hydraulic actuators and rotate independently. 
R  NOTE : All doors are different.____

R  The reverser is designed in such a way that : 
R  - there is no direct impingement of the flow onto the wing under 
R  normal operating conditions 
R  - no occurrences of reingestion under normal operating conditions 
R  - a minimum of unbalanced thrust forces. 
R  The efflux pattern is determined by different means : 
R  - the shape of the reverser openings. 
R  - the height and shape of the kicker-plate at the leading edge of 
R  each reverser blocker door. 
R  - shape of the forward internal skin of the reverser blocker door. 
R  - side walls along the edge of the blocker doors. 
R  The configuration of the right thrust reverser is different from 
R  the left one. 
R  (4) Seals

R  The characteristics of the seals are : 
R  - large diameter seal 
R  - pressurized seal 
R  - silicone and fiber glass material 
R  - no seal scrubbing during door motion 
R  - seal in compression 
R  - each seal is particular to one component with no angle.
