(13) At the center latch, put the locking bracket on the tension nut and install the screw.
(14) At the aft latch, put the locking bracket on the tension nut and install the screw.
(15) TORQUE the screws to between 30 and 40 lbf.in (0.33 and 0.45 m.daN).
(16) Close and lock the thrust reverser half door latches (four locations).

(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.

NOTE : This procedure should only be used to check the thrust reverser
____ half door latch adjustment and not used to adjust the half door latches.
(1) Release the forward latch. The other three latches are to stay locked.
