B. Test
(1)
Put the control handle in a nose-up position (3. approximately) then put the control handle in the neutral position. Release the handle.
(2)
Make sure that the dial test indicator stays at 0 +0.05 mm (+0.0019 in.) -0.05 mm (-0.0019 in.). If it is not the case, do again the adjustment of the spring rods.
(3)
Put the control handle in a nose-down position (3. approximately) then put the control handle in the neutral position. Release the handle.
(4)
Make sure that the dial test indicator stays at 0 +0.05 mm (+0.0019 in.) -0.05 mm (-0.0019 in.). If it is not the case, do again the adjustment of the spring rods.
(5)
Safety the nuts (15) with new cotter pins (18) on the nuts (15).
(6)
Remove the RIGGING PIN (98DNSA20206080) from the roll transducer unit (8).
(7)
Move the side stick in the full directions below:
-nose-up and nose-down
-right and left roll.
Make sure that:
-
the parts move freely
-
the parts that move do not catch the electrical harness
-there is no unwanted materials in the side stick.
5. Close-up

A. Connection of the Side Stick Pitch Damper
(1)
Install the damper (9) in the bellcrank (11) and the bolt (4).
(2)
Install the washer (3), the nut (2) and tighten.
(3)
Install a new cotter pin (1) on the nut (2).

B. Removal of the Tools
(1)
Remove the TOOL - ARTIFICIAL FEEL RODS (98D27303004000) (5) from the structure of the side stick (10).
(2)
Disconnect the 28 VDC POWER SUPPLY TOOL (355M03200001) from the electrical connector (15) and from the 28 VDC aircraft network.
(3)
Remove the HOLDER - SIDE STICK (98D27303001001) from the side stick assembly.
