A. Installation of the FCDC
(1)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (2).
(2)
Install the FCDC (1) on its rack (3).
(3)
Push the FCDC (1) on its rack (3) to connect electrical connectors (2).
(4)
Engage the nuts (4) on the lugs and tighten.
R CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE OBRM(S) IS (ARE) CORRECTLY INSTALLED. IF
_______ R IT (THEY) IS(ARE) NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY, PUSH THE OBRM(S) UNTIL THE LOCKING DEVICES ARE LOCKED.

(a) LAST LEG REPORT (Ref. Fig. 003) This function displays all the system failures which appeared during the last flight. The messages include:

the failed LRU with ATA reference number,

(b) PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT (Ref. Fig. 004) The messages related to failures which appeared during the previous 64 flights include:

the failed LRU with ATA reference number,

the time and date of occurrence,

the flight number.
(c) SYSTEM REPORT/TEST This is the access to various systems and particularly F/CTL (Ref. Fig. 005)

PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT (7) (Ref. Fig. 007) Only the failures of the last 64 flights, affecting flight controls are displayed. The display is identical with that of CFDS menu (Ref. Para. (1) (b)).
(c)
LRU IDENTIFICATION This page indicates the part numbers of the flight control computers (Ref. Fig. 008)
(d)
GROUND SCAN (Ref. Fig. 009) This function is used on the ground to display the failures which are present at the time of the request. Thus this function can confirm a troubleshooting.
