(1)
Make sure that the cover panel is removed.
(2)
Make sure that the PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING (98D27903500000) is installed
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice which tells persons not to operate the side stick is in position on the side stick.

A. Installation of the Casing (if removed)

(1)
Install the casing assembly (27) and (30) on the side stick assembly (12).
(2)
Install the washers (29), the screws (28) and tighten.

B. Installation of the Side Stick Assembly.
(1)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors. (16), (17), (18), (19), (20) and (21).
(2)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Connect the electrical connectors (13), (14), (15), (22), (23) and (24).
WARNING : BE CAREFUL NOT TO CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE LOWER PART OF THE
_______ SIDE STICK (MECHANISM) WHEN YOU INSTALL IT ON ITS SUPPORT.
(4)
Put the side stick assembly (11) in position on its support (12).
(5)
Install the washers (25), the screws (26).
(6)
TORQUE the screws (26) to between 0.38 and 0.42 m.daN (33.62 and
37.16 lbf.in).

Put the cover (3) in position.
(2)
Install the washers (5), the washer (7), the screws (4) and the screw (6). Tighten the screws. Lock the catches (2).
(3)
Release the lock (8). Install the handle (1).

Put the cover (3) in position.
(2)
Install the screws (2) and tighten them.
(3)
Install the washers (5), the washer (7), the screws (4) and the screw (6). Tighten the screws.
(4) Install the handle (1) and the screws (8). Tighten the screws.

E. Check of the Side Stick Movement
(1) Make sure that the side stick:
(a)
Is free to move.
(b)
Has no friction point along its full range of operation.
(c)
Goes correctly to its stops in all the directions.
(d) Goes back to the neutral position when you release it.

F. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 15CE1, 15CE2, 16CE1, 16CE2, 21CE1, 21CE2, 21CE3, 22CE, 13CA, 4RN, 5RN

Install the protective cover on the battery power center 105VU.
(2)
Tighten the two screws.
(3)
Close the access door 822.

Remove the access platform(s).
