Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004).

Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-049) to the bolts (5) and the transducer (3) interface.

B. Installation of the Pressure Transducer
WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1)
Lubricate a new O-ring (7) with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).
(2)
Install the new O-ring (7) on the transducer (3).
(3)
Put the transducer (3) in position on the manifold (6).
(4)
Install the bolts (5), the washers (2) and the nuts (1).
(5)
Tighten the nuts (1).
(6) Connect the electrical connector (4) to the transducer (3). Subtask 27-92-19-614-051
C. Pressurize the Accumulator
(1) Pressurize the applicable accumulator with nitrogen (Ref. TASK 12-14-29-614-002).

D. Leak Test

Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-004A) to the transducer (3) and the manifold (6) joint.
(2)
Examine the joint and the adjacent area for leaks. Leaks are not permitted.
(3)
If necessary, remove the transducer (3) (Ref. TASK 27-92-19-000-001) and do the installation task again (Ref. TASK 27-92-19-400-001).
(4)
Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) to clean the transducer (3) and the manifold (6) joint.

Make sure that the maintenance device is in the 'O' (Operation) position.

D. Pressurize the Hydraulic Systems

E. Removal of Equipment
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Remove the safety barriers.

Remove the warning notice(s).
(4)
Remove the access platform(s).

Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
