Duringinstallationof flexiblehoseassemblies,considerthe followingprecautions:
(1)  
Assurethe hose is not twisted. High pressuresappliedto a twistedhosecancause failureof the hoseor looseningof the B-nut.

(2)  
Do not attemptto straighten a hose havinga bend in it as this could result in damageto the hose. Rubberhoseswill take a permanentsetduringextendedserviceperiods.Careshouldalsobetakenduringremovaland reinstallationof suchhosesto assure they are not bentexcessivelyand that theyare returned to their originalposition.

Perform inspection per Chapter 56 of the Maintenance Manual (p/n 761-852).

Inspect main landinggear inboard door hinges for cracks, usinga dye penetrant methodof inspection.

Oxygen cylinders (DOT 3HT -Steel, thin wall): Hydrostatic test to 5/3 their working pressure and retire from service at 24 years or 4,380 filling cycles (partial or full pressurization) after date of manufacture, whichever comes first. Oxygen cylinders (DOT E-8162 or E-8391 -composite): Hydrostatic test to 5/3 their working pressure and retire from service at 15 years.
