weight),withoutbinding,throughits normalrange(0 ° to 30 down)fromanypointin
this range.
(c)
Connectcontroltube.
(d)
If leftflapwas removed,connectpositionsenderrod.
(e)
Checkflapfor properoperation,riggingandadjustment.

Removal of Flap Actuator Motor (Figure 402)
(a)
Removecenterfloor panel in main cabin area. Theflap actuator motoris located on forward sideof bulkhead station 174.00.
(b)
Disconnect electrical leadsfrommotor.
(c)
Cutsafety wire and disconnect flexibledrive shaft ends from motor.
(d)
Removeclampholding motor unitsmounting bracket. Remove motor.
(e)
Replaceshockgrommetsfrom bulkhead by removing motorwith mountingbracket from bulkhead.
5. Installation of Flap Actuator Motor (Figure 402)
(a)
Install shock grommetsin bulkhead at F.S. 174.00.
(b)
Install flap actuator motorand bracket,if previously removed,on forward sideof bulkhead. Ensureanti-rotationpin on motor fits in mounting bracket pinhole. Secureholdingclamp.
(c)
Connectflexible drive shaft endsto motor, attachnut finger tight, and secure with MS20995-C41 safety wire.
(d)
Connect electrical leads.
(e)
Check flap rigging and adjustments (Figure 502).
(f)
Install access plates and panels.
6. Removal of Flexible ActuatorShaft (Figure 402)
(a)
Removethe center floor panellocated in the main cabin area.
(b)
Removethe right or left row of seatsand floor panels aft of the main spar.
(c)
Removethe aft access plate on the fairing locatedon the underside between the fuselageand wing.
(d)
Removethe accessplates at the aft side of the wheel well at wing stations 40.00,47.00, and 56.00,on the undersideof the wing at W.S. 34.50, 42.50, 82.75 and 92.50, and on the false sparat W.S. 42.50, 53.00, 92.50 and 101.00.
(e)
Cutthe safety wire and disconnect the shaft fromthe actuator motorandflap transmission.
(f)
Removethe support clampon the fuselage bulkheadandthe support grommetswithinthe wing andfuselage.
(g)
Removethe actuator shaft.
7. Installationof Flexible Actuator Shaft (Figure 402)
(a)
Draw the shaft through the wing intothe fuselage.
(b)
Connectthe flexible drive shafts to the transmissions. Ensurethat the splines are properly engagedand run the shaft attaching nutson finger tight. Safety the nutswith MS20995-C41 safetywire.
(c)
Checkthe flap rigging and adjustments.
(d)
Installthe accessplates,panels,clamps, grommets, and seats.
