(b) Manuallymoveleft flap to fulldown(30+ 1 -0°) positionon rigging tool. Turntransmission sleevesout fromforwardstops, recordnumberof turns, alignattachmentholein sleeves, with holesin respectiveflap horns, andtemporarilyinstallattachmentbolt. Adjustdown limit actuatingbolt to actuateswitch.
NOTE: Differencein numberof turnsbetweeninboardandoutboardtransmissionsmustnot exceed1/2turn.
(c)
Turn rightflaptransmissionsleevesoutfromforwardstops(usingequalnumberof turnsused for left flaptransmissionsleeves),alignattachmentholein sleeveswith holes in respectiveflap horns, and temporarilyinstallattachmentbolt.
(d)
Ensureproperalignmentof sleeveandflaphorn. If sleeve and horndo notalign, loosenbolts
attachinghornto flap, andtap horn to achieveproperalignment. Retorquehorn attachment bolts.
(e)
Withsleeveand hornproperlyaligned, connectsleeveto hornwithboltand castellatednut. Tightennut to allow0.03inchboltthrustplay. Installcotterpin.

(a) Removecoversfrom RT2and RT3onflapcontrolamplifier. Ensurebothtrimmersare
positionedfullyclockwise. Insert30 ampfuse(for test purposesonly)in flap motorelectrical powerconnection.
(b)
Applyexternalpowerto aircraftandestablishbusvoltageof 28 ± 0.5volts.
(c)
Placeflap selectorin DOWN position.
(d)
Engageflapcontrolcircuitbreaker, butdo notengageflap motorcircuitbreaker. Allowfive minutewarm-uptime.(Flapshouldstillbe downfrommechanicalrigging)

Insert"PLUS"test leadfromdigitalvoltmeter,intoRCtestpointon controllerand "MINUS"test
leadintoRL. Adjustshaftof left wing potentiometerfora readingof + 0.10v. and lockactuator armto pot shaft.Be surethatvoltagehasnotchangedwhilelockingactuatorarm. (Record voltageonworksheet.)
(f) Move"MINUS"test lead to RRtestpointand adjustrightwing pot.to +0.10v. Lockactuator
armto pot. shaft. Checkthat voltagedoesnotchangewhilelockingactuatorarm.( Record voltageon worksheet)
NOTE: All measurementsmustbetakenat controlamplifier.
(g) Depress(butdo not engage)motorcircuitbreakerand moveflapselectorto UP; ensureflap motoris wiredcorrectly(flapsmoveup). If not,reversewiring;if correct,engagebreaker.
NOTE: Ifflapswill notmoveto full up position, hooka jumper betweenRLand RR. When flapsare up removejumper.
