(1.) Whenmeasuringflapdeflectionangles,lift flaptrailingedge to eliminateplaybetween rollersand trackslot. If indicatordoesnot correspondto flap position,placeflaps in APPROACHposition.
(2.) Adjustflap indicatortrimmer,locatedon inboardend of flapamplifierbox(oppositeconnectorend),so flapindicatorneedlefalls in centerof approachgraduation.(3.) Checklocationofflap indicatorneedlein UPand DOWNpositionsand adjusttrimmersoneedlecenterlinefalls withinor tangentto upperand loweredgeof graduationin UP,APPROACH,and DOWNpositions.
NOTE: If trimmeris rotatedto raiseneedle,needlemustrisean equalamountin allthree positions.

(a.) Adjust indicator trimmer so flap indicator needleis at upper tangent of graduation at
UP and APPROACH positions. (b.) Adjust RT3 so needle falls with down graduation. (c.) Recheck indicator at UP, APPROACH, and DOWN positions. Readjust trimmer as
required. (d.) Recheck VLR and readjust as necessary. RT2 could require readjustment. (e.) Ensure VL and VR are still within limits of VC specified and ensure positionindicator
agreeswith flap position in UP, APPROACH, and DOWN positions.
(aa) Locate flap system test switch on lower instrument panel. Move flap selector handle to approach position, activate test switch, and ensure wing flap caution light, located in annunciator panel, illuminatesand flap travel stops. Release test switch and check flaps for properopperation.
(bb) Remove 30 amp fuse installed in step (a). Install all access plates and panels.
