A. Descriptionand Operation
ThePA-42-720containsindividualfuel systems (refer to 28-00-00 Figure1) in each wing for each engine.Eachstandardfuel system consists of a wing tip tank, three bladder type tanks, and a nacelle tankwhich provide 281 gallons of fuel for each engine.

The controls regulatingfuel flow, other than enginecontrols (start control lever and powercontrol lever),are used to control the crossfeedand fuel shutoff valves, bothof which are manuallycontrolled fromthe fuel control panel withinthe cockpit. The crossfeed valveis located on the left side of the aircraftattachedto the crossfeed and left engine main feed lines (refer to 28-20-00 Figure2)).
