Go to the EICAS Configuration Maintenance page (<31 CONFIG prompt) (AMM 45-10-00/201). 1) Make sure that the EPCS ratings are the same for all of the
engines.
(d)
Go to the CMCS Existing Faults menu (AMM 45-10-00/201).
1) Make a record of all the CMCS fault messages that are related to the engine.
(e)
Put the ENG POWER switches to the NORM position.
(f)
Do the necessary corrections for these applicable EICAS messages (FIM 71-EICAS MESSAGES).
(g)
Do the necessary corrections for the CMCS messages (FIM 71-CMCS MESSAGE INDEX) if it is necessary.

Operate the engine at the minimum idle for 5 minutes.
NOTE: Do not do this step if the engine has operated at the minimum
____ idle condition for 5 minutes during the engine start procedure.
(a)
Make sure the engine operates correctly.
(b)
Go to the PERFORMANCE page (AMM 45-10-00/201).
(c)
Make sure the N1, N2, EGT, and FF indications show on the EICAS
display.
(d) Go to the EPCS page (AMM 45-10-00/201).
(e) Make sure these indications show on the EICAS display: TRA,
SVA, BVA, N2C, T2, PS, P2, RP, and SCAV (or DOT).

(f) Push the RCL or CANC, and STAT switches on the P10 panel for the top and bottom EICAS display. 1) If there are EICAS messages on the top and bottom EICAS
display, correct the failures as it is necessary.

(14) Increase the engine speed with the steps that follow:
(a)
Let the engine become stable at idle for five minutes.
(b)
Slowly move the thrust lever forward until the engine speed is at 80% N2.
(c)
Let the engine become stable for 15-20 seconds.
(d)
Slowly move the thrust lever rearward until the engine speed is at idle.

Let the engine decrease in temperature at idle speed for 5 minutes.
