(11) Remove the bootstrap equipment with the steps that follow:
NOTE: If it is necessary, the load cells, aft arms, and forward
____ arms can stay installed on the strut for use during the installation of the replacement engine. You must remove the bootstrap equipment if the engine is off the strut for more than one day. You must also remove the bootstrap equipment if the winds are more than the wind limits for the hold-open equipment.
(a)
Remove the aft load cell (1) (Fig. 409).
(b)
Remove the aft horizontal braces, arm assemblies and brackets (Fig. 408).
(c)
Remove the forward load cells (10) (Fig. 409).
(d)
Remove the forward inboard and outboard arms (5 and 6)
(Fig. 409).
(e)
Remove the coupling rod (9) and forward supports (7 and 8) from the upper engine mount (Fig. 409).
