(1) Make sure the EEC MAINT ENG (1,2,3, or 4) POWER switch on the P461 panel is in the NORM position.

Use the Power Plant Operation (Normal) procedure to start the engine (AMM 71-00-00/201).
(3)
Operate the engine at minimum idle for 5 minutes.

(4) Make sure the engine operates correctly.

Go to the EPCS page (AMM 45-10-00/201).
(d)
Make sure these indications show on the EICAS display: TRA, SVA, BVA, N2C, T2, PS, P2, RP, and DOT.
(e)
Push the RCL and STAT switches on the P10 panel for the top and bottom EICAS display. 1) If there are EICAS messages on the top or bottom EICAS
display, correct the failures as it is necessary.
E. Do a Check for the Maintenance Messages.

A. General
(1)
This task does a check of the four items that follow:
(a)
The EEC mode select switch
(b)
The auto-throttle arm discrete
(c)
The thrust lever
(d)
The checks for the EICAS and CMCS maintenance messages.
(2)
When you do this task after the replacement of the component that follows, only do a check of the EICAS and CMCS maintenance messages:
(a) The EEC inlet total pressure/temperature (PT2/TT2) probe
