 7.  Gear Down Dispatch Switch

 A.  The gear down dispatch switch when placed in the GEAR DOWN DISPATCH position provides a discrete input to the ADCs to change the Vmo/Mmo curve when the airplane is to be dispatched with the gear down. The NORMAL VMO position is the normal guarded position. The switch should be in the NORMAL VMO position unless the airplane is being dispatched with the gear down.
 B.  The gear down dispatch switch is located on the flight interphone jack and attitude sensor assembly installed at STA 411, WL 150, RBL 4 in the main equipment center forward of the electrical equipment racks.
 8.  Fifth Engine Carriage Switch

 A.  The fifth engine carriage switch when placed in the FIFTH ENGINE CARRIAGE position provides a discrete input to the ADCs to change the Vmo/Mmo curve when the airplane is to be dispatched carrying a fifth engine. The NORMAL VMO position is the normal guarded position. The switch should be in the NORMAL VMO position unless the airplane is being dispatched carrying a fifth engine.
 B.  The fifth engine carriage switch is located on the flight interphone jack and attitude sensor assembly installed at STA 411, WL 150, RBL 6 in the main equipment center forward of the electrical equipment racks.
 9.  ADC Transformer

 A.  The ADC transformer is an auto transfomer that provides a 26v ac resolver reference voltage to the ADC and to a resolver contained in AOA sensor.
 B.  The left ADC transformer (T131), right ADC transformer (T132), and center ADC transformer (T133) are located in the main power distribution panel (P6).
 10. Air Data System Interface

 A.  The air data system interfaces with the following systems:

 B. Pressurization Control System (Ref 21-31-00)
 (1)  
Components of the pressurization control system that interface with the air data system are the:

 (a)  
Left cabin pressure controller

 (b)  
Right cabin pressure controller

 

 (2)  
The pressurization control system receives digital data from the left and right ADCs on data bus No. 4.

 (3)  
Data will be provided by the center ADC when it is used as an alternate source for either the left or right ADC.


 C. Autopilot/Flight Director (Ref 22-10-00)
 (1)  
Components of the autopilot/flight director system that interface with the air data system are the:

 (a)  
Left flight control computer (L-FCC)

 (b)  
Center flight control computer (C-FCC)

 (c)  
Right flight control computer (R-FCC)

 

 (2)  
The autopilot flight/director receives digital data from the left and right ADCs on data bus No. 1. The left ADC serves as the source for the left and center FCCs. The right ADC serves as the source for the right FCC.
