 (41) Do these steps to do a test of the AOA vane interface to the center ADC:
 (a)  
Set the AIR DATA switch on the first officer's SOURCE SELECT module to the C position.

 (b)  
Open the 7A17 AOA ALTN R circuit breaker on the P7 panel.

 (c)  
Connect the ARINC 429 bus reader to the C ADC front panel TEST ONLY connector.

 (d)  
Set the ARINC 429 bus reader to these parameters:

 Octal Label: 221 SDI: 2 (Bit 10 = 1, Bit 9 = 0) Display: Engineering Units

 (e)  
Move the left AOA vane to 10 degrees with the angular displacement measuring tool. 1) Make sure the AOA on the bus reader is 9.64 to 10.36

 degrees.

 (f)  
Move the left AOA vane to -10 degrees with the angular displacement measuring tool. 1) Make sure the AOA on the bus reader is -10.36 to -9.64

 degrees.

 (g)  
Close the 7A17 AOA ALTN R circuit breaker on the P7 panel.

 (h)  
Move the right AOA vane to 10 degrees with the angular displacement measuring tool. 1) Make sure the AOA on the bus reader is 9.64 to 10.36

 degrees.

 (i)  
Move the left AOA vane to 10 degrees with the angular displacement measuring tool. 1) Make sure the AOA on the bus reader is 9.64 to 10.36

 degrees.

 (j)  
Move the right AOA vane to -10 degrees with the angular displacement measuring tool. 1) Make sure the AOA on the bus reader is -10.36 to -9.64

 degrees.

 (k)  
Remove the angular displacement measuring tool from the left and right AOA vanes.

 (l)  
Set the AIR DATA switch on the first officer's SOURCE SELECT module to the R position.

 (1)  Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
 (a)  P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
 1) 6D07, IRS LEFT AC

 (2)  Do these steps to prepare for a test of the center ADC: (a) Make sure the left, right and center IRS mode select switches on the P5 overhead panel are in the ATT or NAV position. (b) Make sure the IRS switch on the captain's SOURCE SELECT module is in the L position. (c) Make sure the IRS switch on the first officer's SOURCE SELECT module is in the R position.

 (3)  Set the EIU switch on the first officer's SOURCE SELECT module to the L position.

 (4)  Open the 415L39 CMC R circuit breaker on the P415 circuit breaker panel.

 (5)  Make the CMC ground test selection from the CDU.

 (6)  Push the AIR DATA CMPTR-L line select key on the CDU. (a) Make sure these warnings occur for approximately 2 seconds: 1) The Master Warning lights on the glareshield are on. 2) The overspeed aural warning is heard from the aural warning speaker. 3) The warning message, >OVERSPEED, shows on the top EICAS display.
