The IRS MONITOR page displays the computed position error rate for each IRU upon flight completion.

 (4)  
The POS REF page displays ground speed and current position as computed by the FMC and each IRU. If radio update purge is in the armed state, the FMC POS position displayed is the mixed IRS position.

 (5)  
The GROUND TEST system page identifies the ATA chapters which have ground test capability through the central maintenance system.

 (a)  
The GROUND TEST menu allows the operator to perform ground tests of specific Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). Pressing line select key (LSK) performs a ground test of the IRS interface. This test is identical to the self test that can be performed from the IRU panel except that it is initiated from any CDU and the results are displayed on the CDU.

 (b)  
The word PASS indicates passage of the ground test. Failure of the ground test is indicated by the word FAIL. Pressing the adjacent LSK causes the GROUND TEST RESULTS page to be displayed. This page gives more specific information about the test failure.

 (2)  IRS failures cause removal of IRS-related symbology and display of the ATT and HDG failure flags. The PFD's are located on the captain's and first officer's instrument panels.
 B.  Navigation Display (ND)
 (1)  The NDs show the following IRS data:
 -magnetic or true track (all modes)
 -drift angle (ctr map or plan mode)
 -magnetic or true heading (exp map or ctr vor mode)
 -ground speed (all modes)
 -wind direction and magnitude (all modes)
 -IRU positions (all modes)
 NOTE: The values for track, ground speed and wind are normally
____ supplied by the FMCs. If the FMCs fail, these values are supplied by the selected IRU.
 NOTE: The IRU position indicators show the left, center and right
____ IRU positions. They are displayed when the position push button on the EFIS control panel is pushed.
 (2)  IRS failures cause removal of IRS-related symbology and display of the ATT, VERT and HDG flags.
 C.  The flight path vector (FPV) consists of the flight path angle (FPA) and the drift angle (DA). The FPV is controlled by a separate, 2-position switch on each EFIS panel. The FPV display symbol appears or disappears as described in the following paragraphs.
