Install a dust cap on the electrical connector.
(e)
Remove the screws that hold the valve to the floor beam.
(f)
Remove the valve from the floor beam.

C. Install the Source Select Valve

(1) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel 1) 7J17 ADC C P/S XFR VALVE

(2) Install the source select valve:
(a)
Install the valve onto the floor beam that holds the valve.
(b)
Install the screws in the valve.
(c)
Remove the dust cap from the electrical connector.
(d)
Examine the electrical connector for loose, bent, or broken pins.
(e)
Install the electrical connector to the rear of the valve.

(f) Remove the dust caps from the pitot-static system hoses.
CAUTION: DO NOT CONNECT THE PITOT-STATIC SYSTEM HOSES WHEN THE
_______ PITOT-STATIC SYSTEM IS NOT AT AMBIENT PRESSURE. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SOURCE SELECT VALVE.
(g)
Connect the three pitot-static system hoses to the valve.
(h)
Make sure the quick-disconnects are fully connected and locked in the sealed position.
D. Test the Source Select Valve

(1)
Do a leakage test of the pitot-static system (AMM 34-11-00/501).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7J17 ADC C P/S XFR VALVE

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7J19 ADC SOURCE SEL CAPT
2) 7J20 ADC SOURCE SEL F/O

(5) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7J17 ADC C P/S XFR VALVE

Set the AIR DATA switch on the first officer's source select module to the C position.

Make sure the EICAS status message, P/S XFR VLV, shows on the auxiliary display.
