In section 48, remove the pressure cap from the static line disconnected from the right side static port of the elevator feel computer.

Flush from the air supply through the static line with dry filtered air, 20 to 30 psi, for 2 minutes.


 NOTE: Make sure that you can feel air come out of the line to show

 that the line is not cross connected.

 (1)  On the flight deck, install the quick-disconnects to the standby airspeed indicator pitot and static system hoses:
 (a)  
Remove the temporary fasteners from the pitot and static hoses.

 (b)  
Remove the pressure caps from the pitot and static hoses.

 (c)  
Install the quick-disconnects on the pitot and static hoses.

Install the standby airspeed indicator in the center instrument panel (P2) (Ref 34-13-01/401).

On the flight deck, install a quick-disconnect to the standby altimeter static system hose as follows:

 (a)  
Remove the temporary fasteners from the static hose.

 (b)  
Remove the pressure cap from the static hose.

 (c)  
Install a quick-disconnect on the static hose.

 (4)  Install a standby altimeter in the center instrument panel (P2) (Ref 34-13-02/401).

 (5)  In the electrical and electronics compartment, connect the left and right air data computers to the pitot-static system:
 (a)  
Remove the temporary fasteners from the pitot and static hoses.

 (b)  
Remove the pressure caps from the pitot and static hoses.

 (c)  
Install quick-disconnects on the pitot and static hoses.

 (d)  
Remove the protective caps from the left and right air data computer ports.

 (e)  
Connect the pitot and static hoses to the left and right air data computers.

 (6)  In the electrical and electronics compartment, connect the center air data computer and source select valve to the pitot-static system:
 (a)
Remove the protective caps from the center air data computer pitot port and from the pitot source select valve ports.

 (b)  
Remove the temporary fasteners from the pitot hoses.

 (c)  
Remove the pressure caps from the pitot hoses.

 (d)  
Install a quick-disconnect on the auxiliary No. 2 pitot hose.

 (e)  
Connect the auxiliary No. 2 pitot hose to the input of the pitot source select valve.

 (f)  
Disconnect the pitot hoses joined by the MS21916D5-4 reducer.

 (g)  
Install quick-disconnects on the pitot hoses.

 (h)  
Connect the first officer's pitot hose to the pitot input of the source select valve.

 (i)  
Connect the center air data computer pitot hose to the pitot input of the center air data computer.

 (j)  
Remove the protective caps from the center air data computer static port and from the source select valve ports.

 (k)  
Remove the temporary fasteners the from the static hoses.

 (l)  
Remove the pressure caps from the static hoses.

 (m)  
Install a quick-disconnect on the auxiliary No. 1 static hose.

 (n)  
Connect the auxiliary No. 1 pitot hose to the input of the source select valve.
