WARNING:_______ WHEN THE STATIC PORTS ARE COVERED, MAKE SURE THAT
CONDITION IS VISIBLE FROM THE GROUND. FAILURE TO OBSERVE
AND REMOVE COVERINGS OVER STATIC PORTS BEFORE FLIGHT MAY
CAUSE LARGE ERRORS ON AIRSPEED SENSING AND ALTITUDE
SENSING SIGNALS, WHICH MAY LEAD TO LOSS OF SAFE FLIGHT.
(b) Seal the forward static ports (S1) and the aft static ports (S2) with vinyl adhesive tape, at these locations: 1) The upper left pitot-static probe 2) The lower left pitot-static probe
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU FLUSH THE PROBE ADAPTER WITH WATER
_______ BEFORE YOU ATTACH THE ADAPTER TO THE PROBE. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PROBE OR THE ADAPTER.
(c) Flush the pitot-static probe adapters with water.
NOTE: Use equal parts of water and ethylene glycol when the
____ temperature is between 32 degrees F and -40 degrees F.
(d) Install the probe adapters on the probes.

(3) Connect the pneumatic test set to the pitot-static probe adapters.
(a)
Connect the pitot (pressure) source in the pneumatic test unit through the pitot control valve to the pitot cutoff valve.
(b)
Connect the static (vacuum) source in the pneumatic test unit through the static control valve to the static cutoff valves.

Do one of these steps:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE STAYS
_______ BETWEEN 0 AND 10.19 INCHES OF HG (MERCURY) WHEN YOU DO NOT DISCONNECT THE ELEVATOR FEEL COMPUTER FROM THE PITOT SYSTEM. TOO MUCH DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELEVATOR FEEL COMPUTER.
1) If you do not disconnect the auxiliary pitot hoses from the elevator feel computer; do these steps. a) Install the test adapters on the dedicated static
pressure ports. b) Seal the visco jet drains with vinyl adhesive tape.
