CAUTION:_______DO NOT PUT OBJECTS INTO THE STATIC PORTS. DO NOT LET SOLVENTS, OIL, OR GREASE GET ON THE PROBE. DO NOT RUB THE SURFACE OF THE PROBE TO CLEAN IT. THESE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PITOT-STATIC PROBE.

Clean the pitot-static probe with clean water to remove material from the external surface.

Dry the pitot-static probe with a soft cloth.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

1) 6D30 PROBE HEAT PITOT L

3) 6D32 PROBE HEAT AUX PITOT L
4) 6D33 PROBE HEAT AUX PITOT R

STATIC PRESSURE PORT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This subject contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of a static pressure port. The second task is for the installation of a static pressure port.
B. Four static pressure ports are installed on the external surface of the airplane. Two alternate static pressure ports are installed on the left and right side of the airplane. The alternate static pressure ports are installed at STA 465, WL 140. Two dedicated pressure ports are installed on the left and right side of the airplane. The dedicated pressure ports are installed at STA 2367, WL 243.
C. Get access to the static pressure ports through the inner part of the airplane.

(1) Remove the wall from the cargo compartment to get access to the alternate static pressure port (Ref 25-52-01/401).
NOTE: The left alternate static pressure port and the cabin
____ pressure port look the same. Make sure you remove the left alternate pressure port.
