 CAUTION:_______DISCONNECT THE AIR DATA COMPUTER FROM THE STATIC SYSTEM. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIR DATA COMPUTER.
 (2)  Disconnect the first officer's static system from the R-ADC.

 WARNING: WHEN THE STATIC PORTS ARE COVERED, MAKE SURE THAT CONDITION IS
_______ VISIBLE FROM THE GROUND. FAILURE TO OBSERVE AND REMOVE COVERINGS OVER STATIC PORTS BEFORE FLIGHT MAY CAUSE LARGE ERRORS ON AIRSPEED SENSING AND ALTITUDE SENSING SIGNALS, WHICH
 MAY LEAD TO LOSS OF SAFE FLIGHT.
 WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT THE PROBE HEAT IS NOT ON.  YOU CAN CAUSE INJURY
 TO PERSONS.

 CAUTION:_______DO NOT EXTEND THE SEALS INTO THE PITOT DRAINS. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE IN THE AREA WHEN YOU REMOVE THE SEALS.
 (3)  Seal these locations with vinyl adhesive tape:
 (a)  
The forward static ports (S1) in the upper right pitot-static probe.

 (b)  
The aft static ports (S2) in the lower left pitot-static probe.

 (4)  Connect the pneumatic test set to the first officer's static system test fitting.
 (a)  
Connect the static (vacuum) source in the pneumatic test unit through the static control valve to the static cutoff valve.

 (b)  
Connect the first officer's static system quick-disconnect test fitting to the static cutoff valve through the static system test gage and flow restrictor.


 NOTE: You will find the test fitting on the right side of the
____ airplane above the system drains at STA 400.
 (c)  Open the static cutoff valve.

 CAUTION: DISCONNECT THE RIGHT AIR DATA COMPUTER FROM THE STATIC SYSTEM.
_______ YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIR DATA COMPUTER.
 (5)  Do a leak test of the first officer's static system (full-range).
 (a)  Apply pressure to the first officer's static system equivalent to 25,000 |200 feet of altitude (11.10 |0.10 in. Hg absolute).
 CAUTION: HOLD THE PRESSURE, AS AN ALTERNATIVE, BEHIND THE CUTOFF
_______ VALVE DURING THE CUTOFF TIME. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT WHEN YOU OPEN THE CUTOFF VALVE WITHOUT THE PRESSURE.
 (b)  Close the static cutoff valve to the system when the instrument shows the necessary altitude.

 (c)  
Stop for 5 to 6 minutes to permit the system to become stable.

 (d)  
Write the altitude.

 (e)  
Stop for 1 minute and read the altitude again.

 (f)  
Make sure that the altitude does not go down by more than 400 feet (0.20 in. Hg).

Open the static cutoff valve.

Put the first officer's static system to ambient pressure.


 NOTE: You must release the vacuum from the cutoff valves slowly.

 CAUTION: DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PNEUMATIC TEST SET WHEN THE PITOT-STATIC
_______ SYSTEM IS NOT AT AMBIENT PRESSURE. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
 (8)  
Disconnect the pneumatic test set from the test fitting.

Connect the first officer's static system to the R-ADC.

_______ BEFORE FLIGHT MAY CAUSE LARGE ERRORS IN AIRSPEED SENSING AND ALTITUDE SENSING SIGNALS, WHICH MAY LEAD TO LOSS OF SAFE FLIGHT.
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU REMOVE ALL OF THE PIECES OF TAPE FROM EACH
_______ PITOT-STATIC PROBE. THE SYSTEM WILL NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY WHEN THE TAPE IS IN ITS POSITION.
 (10) Remove the vinyl adhesive tape from these locations:
 (a)
