 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU REMOVE ALL OF THE PIECES OF TAPE FROM
_______ EACH STATIC PRESSURE PORT. THE SYSTEM WILL NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY WHEN THE TAPE IS IN ITS POSITION.
 (a)  
Remove the vinyl adhesive tape from the left alternate static pressure ports.

 (b)  
Remove the vinyl adhesive tape from the right alternate static pressure port.

 (3)  Examine the static pressure ports for unwanted material and rough locations on the inner and outer surfaces.

 CAUTION: DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PNEUMATIC TEST SET WHEN THE PITOT-STATIC
_______ SYSTEM IS NOT AT AMBIENT PRESSURE. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
 (4)  
Disconnect the pneumatic test set from the static system test fittings.

 (5)  
Connect the elevator feel computers to the pitot-static system:


 NOTE: You must do a leakage test when you connect the elevator feel
____
 computer.

 (a)  
Remove the caps from the two elevator feel computer pitot ports.

 (b)  
Remove the caps from the two auxiliary pitot lines.

 (c)  
Connect the auxiliary No. 1 and auxiliary No. 2 pitot lines to the elevator feel computers.

 (6)  Do a leakage test of the auxiliary No. 1 pitot system:
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE PITOT LINE PRESSURE IS EQUIVALENT OR
_______ MORE THAN THE STATIC LINE PRESSURE. KEEP THE PITOT PRESSURE CHANGE BELOW 300 KNOTS FOR EACH MINUTE AND DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE BETWEEN 0 AND 10.19 INCHES OF MERCURY. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELEVATOR FEEL COMPUTER.
 (a)  
Apply pressure to the auxiliary No. 1 pitot system equivalent to 300 |5 knots of airspeed (ambient pressure plus 4.53 |0.16 in. Hg).

 PRESSURE.

 (b)  
Close the pitot cutoff valve to the system when you get to the correct airspeed.

 (c)  
Stop for 5 to 6 minutes to let the system become stable.

 (d)  
Write down the airspeed.

 (e)  
Stop for one minute and read the airspeed again.

 (f)  
Make sure that the airspeed does not decrease by more than 5.0 knots (0.16 in. Hg).


 CAUTION:_______ HOLD THE PRESSURE, AS AN ALTERNATIVE, BEHIND THE CUTOFF
 VALVES DURING THE CUTOFF TIME.  YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO
 THE EQUIPMENT WHEN YOU OPEN THE CUTOFF VALVES WITHOUT THE

 EFFECTIVITYùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùùù. ú

 (7)  
Open the pitot cutoff valve and put the auxiliary No. 1 pitot system back to ambient pressure.

 (8)  
Do a leakage test of the auxiliary No. 2 pitot system:

 (a)

 VACUUM.

 (b)
