(7) S 865-177Close the 6D7 IRS AC LEFT circuit breaker on the P6 panel.
(8) S 865-179Open the 6D8 IRS AC CENTER circuit breaker on the P6 panel. (a) After 10 seconds, make sure that the IRS ON BAT annunciator on the P461 panel comes on. (b) Make sure that the ground crew call horn on the nose gear wheel well operates.
(9) S 865-200Close the 6D8 IRS AC CENTER circuit breaker on the P6 panel. (a) Make sure that the IRS ON BAT annunciator on the P461 panel does not come on. (b) Make sure that the ground crew call horn in the nose gear wheel well does not operate.

(13) Set the IND LTS switch on the P5 overhead panel to the DIM position.
(a) Make sure that the IRS ON BAT annunciator on the P461 overhead panel does not come on.

(a) After 4.5 to 5.5 minutes, make sure that >IRS DC CENTER comes into view on the main EICAS display.

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of an inertial reference unit (IRU). The second task is for the installation of an IRU.
B. The left, center, and right IRUs are installed on shelf number 6 in the electronic equipment rack E1.
