 (b) Install all of the drain assemblies and quick-disconnects.

 (15) In the electrical and electronics compartment, install all of the drain assemblies (eight drains) on the pitot-static system:
 (a)
Remove the plugs from the drain lines.

 (b)
Install all of the drain assemblies and quick-disconnects.

 (16) At STA 400 on the left and right sides, install all of the drain assemblies (ten drains) on pitot-static system:
 (a)
Remove the plugs from the drain lines.

Install all of the drain assemblies and quick-disconnects.

 (17) At STA 740 on the left side of the forward cargo compartment, install all of the drain assemblies (three drains) on the pitot-static system:

 PITOT-STATIC SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THE ATC TRANSPONDERS ARE NOT IN AN ALTITUDE REPORTING
_______
 MODE WHEN YOU SIMULATE ALTITUDE. IF YOU DO NOT, YOU CAN
 ACCIDENTALLY CAUSE FALSE TCAS TARGETS.

 A.  Make sure the ATC transponders are not in an altitude reporting mode.
 B.  This subject gives two tasks. The first task is a high range test. The second is a low range test. These leak tests pressurize the system or systems that are tested. For each test, you get measurements and compare them to the specifications for the system or systems.
 C.  The leak check for the Pitot-Static system includes these systems:

 D.  The full-range leak test makes sure that the pitot-static system does not leak at an altitude of 25,000 feet and an airspeed of 300 knots. You can do a test of each pitot system and each static system as an isolated unit. You must not apply too much differential pressure when you test one of the static systems. You must pressurize the pitot system to prevent too much differential pressure during a full-range static system leak test.
