(b) Make sure that you do not see an altitude alert indication are on the auxiliary EICAS display.

(9) Set the first officer's AIR DATA source select switch to the R position and the captain's to the C position.

Make sure that the PFD's show satisfactory data.
(b)
Make sure that you do not see an altitude alert indication on the auxiliary EICAS display.

(10) Set the captain's AIR DATA source select switch to the L position.
(a)
Make sure that the captain's PFD shows incorrect altitude data.
(b)
Make sure that you see the status indication ALT ALERT SYS on the auxiliary EICAS display.

(11) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel.

1. Crew Alerting Card Removal__________________________
A. General
(1)
The altitude alert system circuitry is contained on the crew alerting card (YMXA7). It is installed in the Modular Avionics & Warning Electronic Assembly (MAWEA), located in the right crawlway forward of the main equipment center.
(2)
You will find the removal/installation procedure for the crew alerting card in AMM 31-51-02/401.
