Set all of the switches on the IRS mode select unit (MSU) to the OFF position.

 (1)  Set all of the switches on the MSU to the NAV position.
 (a)  Make sure that after 20 seconds none of these messages comes into view on the main EICAS display: ~....................... | IRS ALIGN MODE L | | IRS ALIGN MODE C | | IRS ALIGN MODE R | 2.......................1

 (7)  S 865-075Set the IRS L mode switch on the MSU to the ATT position. (a) Make sure that the IRS ALIGN MODE L and >IRS DC LEFT messages come into view on the main EICAS display. 1) Make sure that the IRS ALIGN MODE L message goes out of view within 30 seconds.
 (8)  S 865-076Close the 7F10 EIU C circuit breaker on the P7 panel.
 (9)  S 865-077Set the EIU SEL switch on the P2-4 panel to the C position.

 (10) Open the 7F9 EIU L circuit breaker on the P7 panel.
 (a)  Make sure that >IRS DC LEFT comes into view on the main EICAS display.
