 B.  The left and the right total air temperature probes are installed on the fuselage forward of the control cabin. The left total air temperature probe is installed at STA 237, WL 326, and BL 13.5L. The right total air temperature probe is installed at STA 237, WL 326, and BL 13.5R.
 C.  The left total air temperature probe is connected to the left air data computer. The right total air temperature probe is connected to the right and the center air data computers.

 1) 7A10, ADC L PWR
 2) 7A12, AOA L
 3) 7A13, AOA ALTN L

 5) 7A16, AOA R
 6) 7A17, AOA ALTN R
 7) 7J15, ADC C PWR

 (3)  Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
 1) 6D28, PROBE HEAT TAT L
 2) 6D29, PROBE HEAT TAT R

 WARNING:_______DO NOT PRESSURIZE THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
 (4)  
Do not apply the pneumatic power to the total air temperature probe.

 (5)  
Remove the sealant from around the bottom of the total air temperature probe (AMM 51-31-01/201).

 (6)  
Remove the total air temperature probe:

 (a)  Remove the screws from the bottom of the total air temperature probe.
 CAUTION: DO NOT PULL THE PROBE AWAY FROM THE FUSELAGE WITH TOO MUCH
_______ FORCE. TOO MUCH FORCE ON THE PROBE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PROBE ELECTRICAL CABLE.
 (b)  
Hold the probe and carefully apply force to loosen the gasket.

 (c)  
Carefully pull the probe from the fuselage to get access to the electrical connector and the pneumatic hose on the bottom of the probe.

 (d)  
Disconnect the electrical connector from the probe.

 (e)  
Temporarily attach the electrical connector to make sure the electrical connector does not fall into the fuselage.

 (f)  
Remove the pneumatic hose from the bottom of the probe.

 (g)  
Install a dust cap on the pnematic hose.

 (h)  
Install dust cap on the electrical connector.

 (i)  
Temporarily attach the hose to make sure the hose does not fall into the fuselage.

 (j)  
Remove the gasket and discard it.

 3. Total Air Temperature Probe Installation (Fig. 401)

 A. Standard Tools and Equipment
 (1) Ohmmeter - measures 0.010 ohms with a precision of | 0.001 ohm.
