Close the 7J17 ADC C P/S XFR VLV circuit breaker on the P7 overhead circuit breaker panel. 1) Make sure the status message, P/S XFR VALVE, does not show
on the bottom EICAS display.

Set the AIR DATA switch on the captain's SOURCE SELECT module to the R position.

Push the AIR DATA CMPTR-L line select key on the CDU.
(a) Make sure these conditions occur for approximately 2 seconds: 1) The Master Warning lights on the glareshield come on. 2) The overspeed aural warning is heard from the aural warning
speaker. 3) The warning message, >OVERSPEED, shows on the top EICAS display.
