(1) Put the safety barriers in position.
(2) Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the spoilers.
(3) Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS ARE_______ CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Fully extend the spoiler 1 (Ref. TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(2) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
R (3) Make sure that the COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER is installed on the spoiler actuator.
R (4) Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER is installed on the flap/slat control lever on the panel 114VU.
