Detailed Visual Inspection of Spoilers 2, 3, 4 and 5 Center Hinge Fittings
WARNING : PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU_______ START A TASK ON OR NEAR: - THE FLIGHT CONTROLS - THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES - THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS - COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING_______ GEAR.
R R R R R CAUTION : BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:_______ - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS. - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS. - MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Put the access platform below the applicable spoiler:

for spoiler 2, zone 583 (683)

(2)
Do a manual extension of the spoilers (Ref. TASK 27-60-00-866-002).

(3) Make sure that the COLLAR-SAFETY, SPOILER (98D27604000000) is installed on the spoiler actuator.
(4) Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER (98D27803000000) is installed on the flap/slat control lever.

WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) to clean the area of the center hinge fitting.
