(1) Put a warning notice on the flap/slat control lever (panel 114VU) to tell persons not to operate the flaps.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS ARE

Fully extend the flaps (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2)
Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER is installed on the flap/slat control lever on the panel 114VU.

(1)
Put the access platform in position below the flap track 3 at zone 587(687).
(2)
Remove the access cover 532AT (632AT) and the flap track 3 fairing 532CB (632CB) (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-004).

Put the spark-proof lamp adjacent to the inspection area.

A. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the outboard double slotted flap tab articulation at track 3, LH/RH.

B. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the tab articulation components and the internal surface of the tab at track 3, LH/RH . Refer to (Ref. NTM 575339 PART 9), for the inspection procedure.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 575300) for the
____ correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from Airbus Industrie.

(1)
Remove the spark-proof lamp from the inspection area.
(2)
Install the flap track 3 fairing 532CB (632CB) and the access cover 532AT (632AT) (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-400-004).

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 6CV, 8CV.
