A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(2)
Install the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) on the flap/slat control lever.
(3)
Put warning notices in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.

(1) Put the adjustable platform in position below the applicable drain holes at zones 533(633), 532(632), 531(631).

A. Inspection
(1) Examine the drain-holes in the flap track fairing for blockage. If the drain-holes are blocked, push a 5.0 mm (0.2 in.) dia. non-metallic probe through the hole to remove the obstruction.
(2) Find the cause of the blockage.

A. Inspection
(1)

(3)
Examine the drain-holes in the outboard flap trailing edge, between the rear spar, L-Profile and end ribs for blockage. If the drain-holes are blocked, push a 5.0 mm (0.2 in.) dia. non-metallic probe through the hole to remove the obstruction.
(4)
Find the cause of the blockage.
