B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS ARE
_______ CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Extend the flaps fully (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2) Make sure that the LOCKING TOOL - FLAP/SLAT CONTROL LEVER is installed on the flap/slat control lever on the panel 114VU.

D. Get Access
(1) Put the access platform in position below the flap track 4 at zone 533(633).
(2) Remove the access panel 533AT (633AT) and the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-004).
(3) Remove the access panel 587BB (687BB) in the bottom skin at track 4.
(4) Put the spark-proof lamp adjacent to the inspection area.

CAUTION : BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING_______ EDGE: - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS. - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS. - MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Preparation for Inspection
R R R R R (1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean internally and externally: - the pendulum support - the internal support fitting.

R (1) Do a special detailed inspection (Ref. NTM 57-53-33 PART 9), R internally and externally of:

the internal support fitting at track 4

the pendulum support

the drive bracket
-
the attachment structure.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 575300) for the
____ correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from Airbus Industrie.

A. Close Access
(1)
Remove the spark-proof lamp from the inspection area.
(2)
Install the access panel 587BB (687BB).
(3)
Install the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) and access panel 533AT (633AT) (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-400-004).
(4)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(5) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 6CV, 8CV.

D. Removal of Equipment
(1)
Remove the safety barriers.
(2)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(3)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
