R 19-010) to the splined-fittings (53), then install the push-fit
R covers (55).
R (15) Remove the bolts (2), (8) and (12), then remove the fixed fairing (1)
R and (if installed) the packer(s) (19).
R (16) Hold the fixed fairing and install the bonding strap (17), with the
R bolt (16) and the nut (15) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
R (17) Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-018) or SEALANTS
R (Material No. 09-019) to:
R - the packer(s) (19)
R - the bolts (2), (8) and (12)
R - the covers (3) and the lower cover (13)
R - the screws (4) and (14).
R NOTE : Make sure that the threads of the bolts ((2), (8) and (12),____
R and the screws (4) and (14) stay clean.
R (18) If necessary, install the packer(s) (19) on the fixed fairing (1).
R (19) Install the fixed fairing with the bolts (2), (8) and (12).
R (20) TORQUE the bolts (2), (8) and (12) to between 0.65 and 0.75 m.daN
R (57.52 and 66.37 lbf.in).
R (21) Install the covers (3) with the screws (4).
R (22) TORQUE the screws (4) to between 0.17 and 0.23 m.daN (15.04 and 20.35
R lbf.in).
R (23) Install the lower cover (13) with the screws (14).
R (24) TORQUE the screws (14) to between 0.35 and 0.45 m.daN (30.97 and
R 39.82 lbf.in).

R (2) Measure and write down the dimension 'X' and the dimension 'Y'.
R (3) Subtract dimension 'X' from dimension 'Y' to calculate the
R difference. Use the table that follows to calculate the shim
R thickness (51).
