Find the three black lines on the fixed fairing and put the extension fairing (1) on them.

Loosely install the washers (4) and the bolts (5).
(f)
Adjust the extension fairing (1) to be in the black lines.
(g)
TORQUE the bolts (3) and (5) to between 0.7 and 0.8 m.daN (61.94 and 70.79 lbf.in).
(h)
Apply a thin layer of STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-008A) to the heads of the bolts (3) and (5).

R fixed fairing.
R (a) Use a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with
R CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the components
R that follow :
R - the washers (2) and (4)
R - the bolts (3) and (5).
R (b) Apply a thin layer of BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material
R No. 08-007) to the threads and shank of the bolts (3) and (5).
R (c) Loosely install the washer (2) and the bolt (3) in the extension
R fairing (1).
R (d) Put the extension fairing (1) on the fixed fairing.
R (e) Loosely install the washers (4) and the bolts (5).
R (f) Adjust the extension fairing and paint three black lines
R (Ref. TASK 32-12-14-400-001).
R (g) TORQUE the bolts (3) and (5) to between 0.7 and 0.8 m.daN (61.94
R and 70.79 lbf.in).
R (h) Apply a thin layer of STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-008A)
