 D. Get Access (Ref. Fig. 621A/TASK 57-53-00-991-023-A)
 (1) Put the access platform below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap track 4, zone 533 (633).
 (2) Remove the applicable access panels (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-001): - for the left wing, remove 533AT, 533CB - for the right wing, remove 633AT, 633CB.
 (3) Remove and discard the cover(s) from the applicable inspection hole(s) on the front spar.
 (4) Make sure that the applicable inspection hole is clear of unwanted material.

 A. Preparation for Inspection
 (1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the external surfaces of the outboard flap upper and lower skins and the front spar fitting.

 B. Inspection
 (1) Examine the external parts of the fitting at the front spar that you can see. Make sure that:
 -
there is no corrosion

 -
there are no cracks

 -the surface protection is in the correct condition.
 NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 575321) for the

 correct repair procedure.

 Use BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-061A) cut to the correct dimensions, to make a new cover(s) for the applicable inspection hole(s).

 Install the applicable access panels (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-400-001):

 -for the left wing, install 533AT, 533CB

 Remove the safety barriers.
