R A. Removal of the Flap Track Fairing
R (1) Remove the applicable fixed fairing (1) 531EB (631EB) or 532EB
R (632EB) or 533EB (633EB):
R (a) Remove the applicable covers (3):
R 1_ For the track 2, remove the screws (4) and the covers (3)
R 531AR (631AR), 531AL (631AL).
R 2_ For the track 3, remove the screws (4) and the covers (3)
R 532AR (632AR), 532AL (632AL).
R 3_ For the track 4, remove the screws (4) and the covers (3)
R 533AR (633AR), 533AL (633AL).
R (b) Remove the applicable lower cover (13):
R 1_ For the track 2, remove the screws (14) and the lower cover
R (13) 531FB (631FB).
R 2_ For the track 3, remove the screws (14) and the lower cover
R (13) 532FB (632FB).
R 3_ For the track 4, remove the screws (14) and the lower cover
R (13) 533FB (633FB).
R (c) Hold the fixed fairing (1) and remove the bolts (2), (8) and
R (12).
R (d) Remove the nut (15), the bolt (16) and disconnect the bonding
R strap (17) from the bracket (18).
R (e) Remove the nut (5), the bolt (9), the bonding strap (6) and the
R bonding disc (7).
R (f) Remove the fixed fairing (1).

R (2) Remove the applicable movable fairing 531CB (631CB) or 532CB (632CB)
R or 533CB (633CB):
R (a) Remove the applicable top cover (10):
R 1_ For the track 2, remove the screws (11) and the top cover (10)
R 531AT (631AT).
R 2_ For the track 3, remove the screws (11) and the top cover (10)
R 532AT (632AT).
R 3_ For the track 4, remove the screws (11) and the top cover (10)
R 533AT (633AT).
R (b) Remove the nut (25) and the bolt (23) and disconnect the bonding
R strap (24) from the rod assembly.
R (c) Remove and discard the cotter pin (44).
R (3) Disconnect the movable fairing:
R WARNING : SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY OR IT WILL FALL AND BECOME_______
R DAMAGED OR INJURE PERSONNEL. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY.
R NOTE : The weight of the flap fairings is approximately 18kg (40lb).____
R (a) Hold the movable fairing and remove the nut (43), the bush (42)
R and the bolt (41).
R (4) Lower the movable fairing:
R CAUTION : MOVE THE MOVABLE FAIRING SLOWLY. DO NOT LET THE MOVABLE_______
R FAIRING TURN TOO FAR VERTICALLY BECAUSE THIS WILL CAUSE
R DAMAGE.
R (a) Carefully lower the applicable movable fairing until you can get
R access to the flap track beam attachment.
R (b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (50).
