Put the spark-proof lamp adjacent to the inspection area.

(1) Use a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to clean the outboard double slotted flap, tab articulation at stations 3A, 3B, 3C.

Articulation at Stations 3A, 3B, 3C
(1)
Do an inspection of the support strut, the forward link and the rear link. Make sure that:

there is no damage
-
there is no corrosion
-
there are no cracks or scores
-they are attached correctly.
(2)
Do an inspection of the tab bracket and the aft flap bracket. Make sure that:
-
there is no damage
-
there is no corrosion
-
there are no cracks or scores
-the surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE : If necessary, refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 575300) for the
____
correct repair procedure.
