(4) For the NLG door-open proximity-sensors 37GA(36GA), 39GA(38GA): (Ref. Fig. 406/TASK 32-31-73-991-007)
(a)
Disconnect the electrical connector (132) from the applicable proximity-sensor (135):
-
for System 1, LH, disconnect FIN 37GA
-
for System 1, RH, disconnect FIN 36GA
-
for System 2, LH, disconnect FIN 39GA
-
for System 2, RH, disconnect FIN 38GA.
(b)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(c)
Identify the positions of the proximity-sensor (135) and the target (140) before you remove them.
(d)
Remove the bolts (136), the washers (133), the nuts (134) and the proximity-sensor (135) from the mounting bracket.
(e)
If it is necessary to remove the target (140), remove the:
-bolts (141)
-washers (137)
-nuts (138)
-target (140).

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the panel 400VU: - make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position - make sure that the warning notice is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the warning notice is on the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle.
