Loosen the nut (15).

Loosen the unlocked-stop screw (14) until it moves away from the quadrant (11).
(4)
Adjust the unlocked-stop screw (14) until it touches the quadrant (11).
(5)
Tighten the nut (15) to keep the unlocked-stop screw (14) in position.
(6)
Make sure that the unlocked-stop screw (14) touches the quadrant (11).
(7)
Safety the nut (15) with the lockwire, corrosion resistant steel, 0.8 mm (0.032in) dia.
(8)
On the panel 110VU, remove the two wedges from the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle (1).
(9)
Release the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle (1) from the center console and turn it counterclockwise three turns.

H. Rigging Check
(1) Do this check to make sure that the system is correctly rigged:
(a)
Operate the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle (1) and turn it as follows:
-clockwise three turns
-counterclockwise three turns
-this gives one complete cycle.
(b)
Operate the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle (1) through ten cycles. At the same time make sure that the rods do not touch the structure.
(c)
Fold the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle (1) into the center console with the free-fall system in the locked position.
(d)
Make sure that the PIN, RIGGING - RUDDER CONTROL can be freely and easily installed and removed at position Pin 3.
(2) Remove the PIN, RIGGING - RUDDER CONTROL at position Pin 3. Subtask 32-33-00-865-058
J. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1GA, 2GA, 52GA.

K. Ground Configuration
(1) If you did the flight configuration precautions, put the aircraft back to the ground configuration (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-860-002).

Close the NLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
